By downloading, installing, or using Sore Losers ("the App"), including its web version at play.sorelosersgame.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms form a legal agreement between you and Olmo Technologies (the "Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a business based in Norway.
Sore Losers is a dice bluffing game for iOS. It allows you to:
No account is required. The App has no chat and no way to enter text beyond a display name you choose yourself.
The App can also be played in a web browser at play.sorelosersgame.com. The web version has the same modes, and online rooms are shared with the iOS app. The rest of the campaign and the dice sets can be bought in the browser too, except the numbered Confiscated set, which is only sold in the iOS app.
Sore Losers is free to download and includes optional one-time purchases: the campaign beyond the first fight, individual dice sets, and a bundle of dice sets. There are no subscriptions and nothing auto-renews.
Each purchase is a non-consumable in-app purchase. Once bought, it is yours permanently and can be restored on another device using Restore purchases in the app.
Purchases in the app are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. Olmo Technologies does not process these refunds directly.
Purchases in the browser are sold through Link, the merchant of record service run by Stripe. Link takes the payment, sends the receipt and handles VAT, and the payment is covered by Link’s own terms, which the checkout shows before you pay. Prices include VAT where it applies, and may be shown in your local currency.
No account is needed. A purchase made in the browser is kept in that browser. If you sign in with Google, the game links the purchase to your Google account, and signing in with the same account in another browser brings it along. Purchases made in the browser are not available in the iOS app. If you clear the site’s data, play in a private window, or switch browser or device without having signed in with Google, the game may not find the purchase again. Write to us with your receipt and we will see what we can do, but we cannot promise to move it.
For refunds of browser purchases, contact Link support, or write to us and we will pass the request on.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
We reserve the right to change prices. A price change never affects a purchase you have already made.
The Confiscated dice set is limited to 500 numbered copies, and once they are gone they are gone.
Your number is assigned at the moment of purchase and is tied to that purchase, not to your device. It is not transferable, and it cannot be reissued if you ask us to delete it.
Numbers are issued in the order purchases complete. We reserve the right to withdraw the set from sale before the full 500 are issued, and we intend to do so slightly early to make certain the limit is never exceeded.
The limited edition is a cosmetic dice set. It confers no advantage in play.

Because a display name is shown to everyone at your table, choosing one that others would find offensive is a breach of these Terms.
The App, including its artwork, characters, text and code, is owned by Olmo Technologies and protected by copyright. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control.
The underlying game of liar's dice is a traditional game in the public domain. Nothing in these Terms claims ownership of the game's rules.
Music in the App is by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com), licensed under CC BY 4.0 and credited in the App.
Online rooms are hosted on Cloudflare Workers. A room exists only for the duration of a game and is deleted in full 45 minutes after the last activity once nobody is connected.
We do not guarantee that the server will be available without interruption. Solo play, the campaign and play around a single table do not require a network connection and are unaffected by server availability.
You are responsible for who you share a room code with. Anyone holding a valid code can join a room that has space.
To the maximum extent permitted by Norwegian law:
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Norwegian consumer protection law.
We may suspend or terminate your access to online play at any time if you breach these Terms, or if we decide to discontinue the App. Upon termination, your licence to use the App immediately ceases.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. Deleting the App removes all game data stored on your device; purchases in the app can be restored on a new installation. Purchases in the browser stay with that browser’s site data, or with your Google account if you signed in, as described in section 3.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
If you are a consumer located in the EU or EEA, you also have access to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
